Cookbook Recipes
Title: Slaw to Freeze
Author: Audrey Springer
Ingredients: 1 med Head Cabbage, shredded
3-4 grated Carrots
1 grated Onion
1 Green Pepper, chopped
1 c Vinegar
1 1/2 tsp Salt
1/2 c Water
2 c Sugar
1 tsp Mustard Seed
1 tsp Celery Seed
Method: Combine cabbage, onion, carrots, green pepper in large bowl. Add salt and let stand one hour. Drain well!

In saucepan combine vinegar, sugar, water, mustard and celery seed. Bring to a boil and boil 1 min. Let cool, pour over slaw. Toss well.
Chill a few hours or freeze for later use.
Thaw before serving.

Yield: Serves 6
