1 3/4 c sifter Flour
1/2 tsp Salt
1/2 c Sugar
1/2 c Milk
1 T melted Shortening
2 tsp Baking Powder
1/8 tsp Nutmeg
1 Egg, beaten
1/2 tsp Vanilla |

Sift dry ingredients into mixing bowl.
Combine remaining ingredients and pour into dry ingredients. Stir
until smooth. Drop by teaspoonfuls into hot fat - 365 degrees. Fry
until brown on each side. Coat with sugar and cinnamon. |
