1 c Shortening
2 c Sugar
3 1/2 c Cake Flour
3 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
3/4 tsp Salt
1 c Milk
2/3 c fresh grated Coconut
6 Egg Whites |

Cream shortening and sugar. Sift dry
ingredients. Add to shortening and sugar alternately with milk. Fold
in coconut and stiffly beaten egg whites. Bake at 350 degrees for 45
minutes. |
