6 Large Eggs (separate)
1/2 c Sugar
3/4 tsp Cream of Tartar |
Method: |

Beat white until foamy, then add cream of
tartar. Beat until stiff, add sugar; beat like meringue. Set aside.
Beat egg yolks until lemon color. Add: |

Juice of 1 Orange
1 c Sugar
1/2 tsp Salt
1 tsp vanilla |
Method: |

Add in order, keep beating.
Fold together |
Ingredients: |

1 1/4 c Flour
1/4 tsp Baking Powder
grated rind of 1 Orange |
Method: |
|
Fold batter into meringue. Bake 325 for 1
hour |
