Cookbook Recipes
Title: Lasagna
Author: Bonnie Gates (Marvin's Daughter-in-law)
Ingredients: 1 1/2 lb Italian Sausage
1/2 lb Gorund Beef
1 large clove Garlic, minced
1 T whole Basil or Italian Seasoning
1 1/2 tsp Salt
1 large can Italian Tomatoes, cut up
1 large and 1 small can Tomato Paste
Method: Brown meat slowly, spoon off excess fat. Add rest of ingredients. Simmer uncovered 30 min.
Ingredients: FILLING:
1/2 c grated Parmesan or Romano Cheese
1 tsp Salt
3 c cream style Cottage Cheese
2 T Parsley Flakes
1/2 tsp Pepper
Method: Mix together.
Cook 10 oz Lasagna noodles till tender, drain rinse.
Layer half the noodles in 13 x 9 x 2" pan; spread with half of 1 lb Mozzerella cheese (thinly sliced or shredded); add half the sauce. Repeat.

Bake at 375 degrees about 30 min. (or assemble early and refrigerate; bake 45 min.) Let stand 10 min. before serving.
