Lasagna |

Ingredients: |

1 1/2 lb Italian Sausage
1/2 lb Gorund Beef
1 large clove Garlic, minced
1 T whole Basil or Italian Seasoning
1 1/2 tsp Salt
1 large can Italian Tomatoes, cut up
1 large and 1 small can Tomato Paste |
Method: |

Brown meat slowly, spoon off excess fat.
Add rest of ingredients. Simmer uncovered 30 min. |

FILLING:
1/2 c grated Parmesan or Romano Cheese
1 tsp Salt
3 c cream style Cottage Cheese
2 T Parsley Flakes
1/2 tsp Pepper |
Method: |

Mix together.
Cook 10 oz Lasagna noodles till tender, drain rinse.
Layer half the noodles in 13 x 9 x 2" pan; spread with half of 1
lb Mozzerella cheese (thinly sliced or shredded); add half the sauce.
Repeat.
Bake at 375 degrees about 30 min. (or assemble early and
refrigerate; bake 45 min.) Let stand 10 min. before serving. |
